A story of terroir,
passion and precision.

Nestled in the breathtaking highlands of Ethiopia's Kolobo Menagesha region, at an altitude of 2,600 meters above sea level, Gallica Flowers thrives in a climate perfectly suited to cultivating large-head roses and premium blooms. This French-owned farm was established by seasoned experts with deep roots in Ecuador's world-renowned flower industry.

From greenhouse to packhouse, every stem tells a story of care: that of a generous, luminous rose, proud in the hand as in the vase.

Investing in our people & neighbors

A decade of presence in Kolobo Menagesha, woven into daily life.

  • Clean potable water for the village

For over a decade, Gallica has supplied free, safe drinking water to families across the surrounding community.

  • Free, nutritious lunches every day

Hot meals are served daily to all employees and to a few elderly neighbors in need.

  • A kindergarten for the next generation

We built and run a kindergarten for the children of our team and the village. A future is grown, just like a rose.

Pioneering green farming practices

Closed loops, living systems, biodiversity. Practical sustainability.

  • Composting green waste

All organic waste is composted on-site to enrich our soil naturally and dramatically cut synthetic fertilizer use.

  • Rainwater harvesting

Greenhouse roofs collect every drop of rain, feeding our irrigation reservoirs and conserving precious groundwater.

  • Constructed wetland for wastewater

A living wetland system filters and recycles our wastewater. A clean, low-energy water cycle that returns to the farm.

  • Beekeeping & fishery

On-site apiaries and fish ponds boost local biodiversity and bring pollinators back to the landscape around our roses.

  • Afforestation & farmer support

We lead annual tree-planting drives and share technical know-how with neighboring smallholder farmers to grow a greener region.

At Gallica, we don't just grow flowers. We cultivate a brighter, more sustainable future. Partner with us for blooms that bloom with purpose.
